What is a Binary Output?
A Binary Output (BO) is a signal with only two states: ON (1) / OFF (0)
It is used to control devices like:

What is a TRIAC?
A TRIAC (Triode for Alternating Current) is an electronic switch used for AC loads.
Unlike mechanical relays, TRIACs:
1. Have no moving parts
2. Operate silently
3. Offer longer life & faster switching
Once triggered, it allows current flow in both directions of an AC cycle.
What does “24 VAC (External Power Source Only)” mean?
This is the most important part
1. Designed for 24V AC systems
2. Does NOT supply power internally
3. Works only as a switch
->You must provide an external 24 VAC supply
-> The TRIAC output only controls the circuit
How does it work?
Think of it like a smart electronic switch:
1. External 24 VAC -> Load -> TRIAC -> Return
2. Controller ON -> TRIAC conducts -> Device runs
3. Controller OFF -> Circuit opens -> Device stops
